GS cookie time again!

14 02 2009

Wasn’t it just cookie time? *Sigh* cookie time is a lot of work for the adults! Between preorders, sorting & delivery, booth sales, and gaining 10 lbs from eating tubes of Thin Mints… Anyway. If you’re worried about the peanut butter in the cookies, don’t worry.  Cookies made @ ABC bakery are safe to eat, the peanut butter is sourced from Hampton Farms, (not PCA or King Nut). You can see the official statements here.

Vote for your favorite cookie!

My top 5:

  1. Caramel deLites
  2. Thin Mints  a close second)
  3. Peanut Butter Patties
  4. Animal Treasures
  5. Shortbread

Hmm. It appears they are all chocolate ones. The other ones aren’t too bad. My least favorite are the Peanut Butter Sandwiches. My mom always liked Lemon Pastry Cremes, and was really sad when they were discontinued.

Cookies are here! If you don’t have a neighborhood Girl Scout, there are booths set up around the city so you won’t miss out on the best indulgences of the year. My favorite are Caramel deLites :)

If you don’t want to eat cookies yourself, you can buy a box of cookies for the troops overseas. The Blue Star Mothers are collecting cookies, and will send them to their sons and daughters in the military.
